The nationalism of the Kurd and their identity in Turkey

Supposed to write a term paper about the Kurdish identity in Turkey. I had a research question ” Does Turkey recognize the Kurdish minority as a national identity?” However my professor want me to have a research question that is answerable within the confines of 10 pages, but not so specific that it can be answered in a single word no. I need to tweaking this research question about it.
