The Marian Apparitions of the Virgin Mary Research Paper
Please follow all the guidelines and instructions on the uploaded files. This paper is very important! Just need to focus on one or two Marian apparitions. Have to have Primary Sources and Secondary Sources, which will all be listed in the uploaded files.
This is my research question: Research Question: “My proposed research intends to answer the question of the historical accounts of the Marian apparitions of the Virgin Mary and how these apparitions helped create the images of the Virgin Mary through theological and scientific evidence.” Also to explain why some people see these apparitions and others do not.
This has to have very creditable sources
1. Paper: Students will write one 10-12 page research paper (between 3,000-4,000 words) over the course of the semester. (This will include the prospectus and one first submission). N.B.—papers not turned in at the beginning of class on the assigned due date are considered late and will be deducted one letter grade for each class day they are late. Papers will be evaluated according to the strength of their thesis, dept of analysis of primary and secondary sources, grammar, proper citations, eloquence, “historical imagination,” and adherence to the research parameters of the course:
