Research Outline For Ukrainian Flight 752

For this assignment, you are expected to write a short research paper outline on a puzzle related to your podcast case study. Outside research is therefore required, but hopefully, much of this research was already completed for your podcast production. The outline should convey the general framework that you would have adopted if you were writing a complete research paper on your chosen topic. Accordingly, while this assignment does not ask you to produce a full-scale research paper, it does ask you to go through the thought process that is essential for embarking on such a project. Since you have already done a lot of empirical research when preparing your podcast, we are asking you now to focus on analysis and research design.

As a general guide, make sure that your outline addresses the following five questions:

1) What is the puzzle (a point of intrigue in your case that you would like to look into more detail, or your research question) your paper will address?

2) Why is it important?

3) What does the literature say about the puzzle?

4) What is your answer and contribution?

5) How will you go about conducting this research (methodology)?
These five questions are crucial for any academic project, at any level. We will be evaluating this assignment based on these five components.

Your outline should not exceed 1,000 words (about 2 pages single-spaced). Given this short amount of space, you may consider the following structure:
1) Introduction paragraph;
2) A paragraph answering questions 1-2;
3) A paragraph answering questions 3-4;
4) A paragraph answering question 5;
5) A paragraph providing a roadmap of what your paper would look like.
