In this assignment, you will begin drafting your literature for you research proposal. You will be developing the research proposal over the course of this class. The research proposal in its entirety will contain the following sections:

In this assignment, you will use Research Proposal Template provided to develop the assigned section.
About the Literature Review
A literature review examines scholarly articles, books and other sources (e.g. dissertations, conference proceedings) relevant to a particular area of research. The literature review provides a description, summary, and critical evaluation of each relevant work. The purpose is to provide discuss important literature published on a topic.

Directions
1. Use the template provided to complete Chapter 2 Literature Review (see explanation below) of the research proposal template.
2. Format the chapter using APA style.
Chapter 2 Literature Review
The Literature Review provides the background for the research problem and illustrates to the reader that the researcher is knowledgeable about the scope of the topic. Use the information you developed in your annotated bibliography to tell a story about your research topic/problem. When actually writing the literature review, you may need to add additional resources to fill in any gaps you may encounter in your resources.

1st Subheading
Choose one evident theme or that became apparent when researching the topic. Briefly share the results of the various scholarly resources you compiled in your annotated bibliography, including the most pertinent information such as the hypotheses, population, methodology, and results, etc. Relate the resources to an ongoing dialogue of the literature pertaining to the research topic. This means that each resource listed should relate to your research topic in some way. Report the studies sequentially if possible, building upon the findings of prior studies. Remember to separate each category of studies with a new subheading. Do this as many times as needed.
