Leadership/ Quality Improvement Project

The student will complete a Concept Based Leadership Project that is designed to assist in further developing health system concepts within the three domains: individual, healthcare, and nursing. The assignment will culminate with a one page “WHITE” paper and 10 minute process improvement presentation. Students may work independently or in approved groups.

The student is expected to:

Coordinate an experience to analyze the role of an identified nurse leader in health care, nursing education, health policy etc. The student should shadow a minimum of three hours but no more than five hours.
