You will write a 3-5 page paper on your association that includes:
What is the history of the association? When did it form? Who founded the association and how it has evolved over time?
Who would benefit from being an association member?
What are the benefits the association provides its members?
What’s the primary mission of the association and in what ways does the association support the meetings and event industry?
Include something interesting about the association. For example, you could follow the association on Twitter and Facebook to see how the association uses social media to communicate to members and other partners.
Format the paper according to these parameters:
1-inch margins.
12-point font.
APA Formatting and Style. Refer to Purdue OWL’s APA Formatting and Style Guide.
Include each group member’s name.
your paper as your association’s acronym_ yourlastname, e.g. ESPA_Smith., in the .doc or .PDF file format. Other file formats will not be accepted.
