Definition Essay Outline

Prompt and Instructions
Prompt: Choose some aspect of the topic for your research paper, or the topic itself, and fully define it. It should be some idea, etc. that enhances the overall understanding of the topic. Take a look at your argument paper, for example, and think about a word or phrase that was used that your reader may benefit from having defined and that may enhance your argument.
Word Count: 800-850 words.
This will be the standard five-paragraph essay. Therefore you will need an introduction, three body paragraphs, and a conclusion.
For this assignment, you will create a sentence outline for the definition essay.
You will need to adhere to MLA format as regards the heading, page numbers, and title. Don’t forget that you also need a thesis and blueprint.
(In this case I’ll be using the word “Insulin” since that was my Argument Paper related to)
The three definitions are:
1) Formal Definition
2) Stipulative Definition
3) Extended Definition
