Secondly, visit the social media sites that you frequent the most. Realize that HR departments at prospective employers typically look at your social media sites before they make a final hiring decision. They look to see what liabilities you might be bringing into their workplace. In response to this thread, write up two things.

First address at least two points or observations about Mr. Tran and his advice that you personally think is worth remembering.

Secondly, comment on how you think your own social media posts and photos might be viewed by a future potential employer. Are you thinking that some casual social photos may be less appropriate for employers to see? Be specific. Share your own brief evaluation of your brand image on social media. If it’s okay, say so, but explain why or how you might rethink some of your posts. After all, everything you post lives forever.

In this Assignment, you will complete a new or updated LinkedIn profile. Register and open a LinkedIn account if you have not already done so. A basic account is free. Complete a professional profile for yourself that reflects your own brand.

Write a brief paper that includes a link to your new or updated LinkedIn profile. It should be 550 to 650 words in length. Use four tips or more from Van Edwards’ lecture on an earlier forum. Explain the choices you applied in creating or updating your LinkedIn profile.
