The following is the REQUIRED format for your GROUP case study paper. The following are the minimum case study requirements:
Each case study MUST consist of at least 10 pages (no more than 12).
Cover Page (one page)  Must follow the Cover Page example to receive full credit. An automatic –10pt penalty will be deducted if the Cover Page example provided.

Include the following components in your finalized submittal in the following order and use them as PAPER TITLE (USING BOLD TYPE) and Sub-topics (Use the italicized terms below as your section headings) for formatting your submittal. Then write your paper in complete sentences in third person voice using a narrative writing style. NOTE: This is a written business case study. Therefore, proper spelling, punctuation, capitalization, etc. are REQUIRED. This is not a series of text or Twitter messages!

 TITLE OF PAPER: 10-12 pages of content. Then the following order MUST proceed…:
 Provide an Executive Summary of the case by summarizing your report- not the case itself. Must be clear and concise and be at least one paragraph.
 This MUST be your first section of the document but will be the last section written when preparing your case study. [30pts]

 Identify the Statement of Immediate (obvious) Problem (s) (your assigned company’s issues) including the root cause of the immediate problem, and the secondary problem(s) that may or may be solved when immediate problem is solved. [30pts]

Describe your assigned company’s Situation (SWOT) Analysis by explaining at least five items for each element [65pts]  Strengths (internal with company control)  Weaknesses (internal with company control)  Opportunities (external with no company control)  Threats (external with no company control)

Describe the FOUR Management Functions (POLC) of the case company that would help address this case: [65pts]  Planning- Please describe at least one plan type (i.e. strategic plan)
 Organizing- Please describe the actual case company’s organization structure (i.e. hierarchical structure, flat structure)
 Leading- Please name and describe the leadership style of the case company’s management (i.e. autocratic)
 Controlling- Please describe how this case company measures success (i.e. increase market share)

Provide an Action Plan for this case including how to prevent a future similar occurrence. [140pts]
 Must include what should be done;  By whom it should be done;
 Must also include why it should be done;  Generally, how it should be done including and specifically, how the firm would manage debt using a loan amortization spreadsheet;  Additionally, include a Contingency Plan should problems arise.

NOTE: Reference Page (per APA guidelines) is the last page of the Group Case Study on a page of its own formatted with only the second line (if required) of the citation indented and the entire citation double-spaced.

PowerPoint Presentation – SUBMISSION [20 points]  Collectively done as a Group; however, involves individual contributions  Must include 8-Slides (no more no less)  Cover Page Slide (Slide 1)  Group Members Content Slides (Slides 2–7)  1-Slide (per Group Member)

 Each Slide MUST include a three-sentence paragraph (no more no less) summarizing the details of the written material each individual provided for the Case Study
 Each Slide MUST include Bullet Points (no more than six) to further support the three-sentence paragraph
 Each group member MUST have at least one-Slide they’ve contributed to on the Presentation
 BOTH paragraph and Bullets Points must fit on a Single-Slide (per student)
