Prompt: For this milestone, you will submit a draft of your persuasive essay. At this point in the course, you have completed activities that will help you transform your essay into a draft. This milestone will help you address critical elements I–III below, which will ultimately inform your final submission of the persuasive essay. I. Introduction
This is where readers will have a chance to get an idea of what your essay will be about and what you will prove throughout. B. Compose an engaging thesis statement that explains the argument that you will prove and support throughout your essay. This statement will give direction to your essay and should be well thought out.

II. Body
The body is your opportunity to describe and support your argument in depth. Make sure your thoughts and evidence are clear and organized in a way that is easy for readers to follow and understand.

A. Be sure that you write multiple paragraphs that are focused, clearly state their intent, and move logically from one to the other, building the thesis argument as the essay progresses.

Technology can either be moral or immoral depending on its use. Good use of technology improves human physical, mental, spiritual, and moral well-being. Video games and virtual games are among the products of technology. Virtual games are on the rise today and among the most selling ones are the violent ones (Cruz-Benito et al., 2015). A large number of consumers of these products are young children. Studies in the past show that violent video games and virtual games result in adverse psychological effects including addiction, aggression, violence among others.
Technology also increases access to information which is quite helpful to students and scholars. Other benefits include globalization, easy communication among others. However, the inappropriate use of technology significantly promotes immorality in society (Fernández-Vilas et al., 2015). Therefore, it is the role of parents to control how children use technology at their disposal and what they can access/parental control (Fernández-Vilas et al., 2015). Moreover, content creators and regulators in the media industry should also work on reducing content that would aid in increasing immorality and increasing content that preserve and promote morality since they are the controllers of the content that the society consumes.

The key argument in this essay is whether technology is moral. This argument is related to teaching, which managing/coaching is my field of work since teachers are expected to instill morals in their students. According to this paper, technology is responsible for the high rise of evil in society. First, technology encourages cyberbullying and cyberstalking (Heirman & Walrave, 2008). Cyberbullying includes making rude and insensitive comments on another person’s post to make them feel bad. Second, technology has made access to pornographic content easier. This content has adverse effects on young people, such as increased masturbation and rape cases (Coopersmith, 2000). Additionally, through technology, movies, and music videos are portraying a lot of sexual content. Third, technology has enabled video games and virtual games. Research indicates that violent virtual games are the most selling games. Children are the primary consumers of these games, which has adverse psychological effects such as addiction, aggressiveness, and violence (Cruz-Benito et al., 2015). My classmates will read this essay. This particular demographic consists of students below the age of thirty-five. The key challenges I am likely to face while supporting this argument are rejection since young demographic are the significant consumers of the Internet. This demographic is also the primary beneficiary of technology in terms of access to information, ease of communication, and networking. This essay’s primary goal is to encourage the audience to consume technology in the right way and promote morality. The paper needs to present persuasive reasons why technology can be harmful and the resulting side effects. Three resources provide evidence for the argument. First, (Heirman & Walrave, 2008) provide evidence and data on how technology, such as the Internet, has been a useful tool in cyberbullying. The resource has listed examples of harsh and insensitive comments made on others. Second, (Coopersmith, 2000) lists the variety of pornographic content available on the Internet. It provides data indicating that the primary consumers of this content are young people. The resource also includes data on rapists who are previous consumers of pornographic material. Third, (Cruz-Benito et al., 2015) provides evidence of how violent virtual games contribute to aggressiveness, promote violence and addiction to young children.
It would be most useful to integrate evidence after highlighting the key points and listing the resources available in support of the argument. This will instill confidence in the audience. The proof will persuade the reader to agree with the argument and take action. The best strategy for revising the essay is through creating a writing plan that will guide the flow of thoughts and essay structure. This method will ensure all areas are thoroughly addressed, and all views are properly tracked. This feedback has enabled me to understand better how to write an appealing persuasive essay.
